No or low sound because slide bars in audio mixer are too low
Cause:
The volume on the slide bars in audio mixer are too low.
Solution:
Increase the volume slide bars in the audio mixer.
1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Programs'.
3) Select 'Accessories'.
4) Select 'Multimedia'.
5) Select 'Sound Recorder'. (The 'Sound - Sound Recorder' dialog box appears.)

6) Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Audio Properties'. (The 'Audio Properties' dialog box appears.)

7) Click and hold down on the 'Playback' volume control slide bar.
8) Move the slide bar to the right to increase the volume.
9) Release the mouse button when the volume is at a desired level.
10) Click 'OK'.
